On the day of the funeral
Our goal is to guide you through the various stages of a funeral, such as the funeral procession, funeral service, committal service, and wake. We are dedicated to providing you with the necessary support throughout the process.
Before the day of the funeral, we will work closely with you to understand your preferences, help you choose a suitable tribute, and honour any final wishes you may have. If you have any questions or uncertainties about what to expect, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide.
On the day of the Funeral
On the day of the funeral, our Funeral Directors will make all the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and timely service. We have a fleet of luxury limousines to safely transport your family and friends to the service.
Your loved one will be carefully prepared according to your preferences before being transferred to one of our hearses. Any floral tributes, flowers, or portraits you’ve chosen for the funeral can also be placed inside the hearse.
During the funeral procession, which typically begins at the home of the deceased, our Funeral Directors will ensure that all routes have been checked and sufficient pallbearers are available to respectfully carry the coffin into the church or crematorium.
You will need to make arrangements for family and friends traveling in the limousines or guests who wish to follow the funeral procession to arrive at the agreed starting location on time.
If you have a preferred route for the procession, we can accommodate that, including stops at personal landmarks or places of significance.
When you’re ready to leave, our Funeral Directors will escort you and your family to our chauffeur-driven limousines and make sure you have everything you need for the service. They may lead the cortege on foot for a short distance before getting into the hearse and then leading the cortege again on foot upon arrival at the church or crematorium.

Arriving at the church or crematorium
Your Funeral Director will ensure every detail has been taken care of in advance, from any music you have requested to the order of service booklets. They will coordinate with the person conducting the funeral.
When you arrive at the church or crematorium, your Funeral Director will have taken care of all the details, from the music to the order of service booklets. They will work with the service conductor and chapel attendants to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The Funeral Director will lead you into the venue and ensure all guests are present before proceeding with the funeral service. The order of the ceremony is up to you, but please note there may be time restrictions.
After the service, you may choose to have a committal service at the same location or a different one. If it’s a burial, the committal service is typically held at the graveside. At a cremation, there may be a closing of curtains, and the coffin is prepared for cremation.
Following the funeral, you may choose to have a wake or reception. Your Funeral Director can provide a list of local venues, and they will escort you to the chosen location.
The days following the funeral, your Funeral Director will check in with you to ensure everything went smoothly. They can arrange for flower and wreath returns or placement and provide advice on collecting ashes and selecting a memorial.
