1. Direct / Pure Cremation Funeral
£2,000
This funeral package is a plain ‘send-off’, designed to meet the needs of someone who doesn’t want a fuss being made of their demise. Many crematoriums offer a direct cremation service to families and Funeral Directors, the price is reduced because there is no Chapel Service and family members are not permitted to attend.

2. Heart-Warming Cremation Service
£2,999
A relaxed slow-paced personal send-off. The service is held at Funerals from the Heart’s premises any week day at 4PM. The unattended cremation will take place shortly after the service, usually the following morning, at a crematorium outside of Chester.
The price quoted is based on using a crematorium outside of Chester for the actual cremation. Chester Crematorium is very expensive, it is not currently possible to offer in-house services using Chester Crematorium, because their last funeral takes place at 15:20, and the funeral parlour needs to close its doors to the general public to guarantee you a private service. The funeral parlour will close for the public at 15:30 during an in-house servive day.
Up to 40 guests are warmly welcomed into the parlour.
Complimentary tea & coffee drinks will be on hand for your guests.

4. Burials
£3,300(+)
Burial costs vary vastly, and so, it is too difficult to design a package around one.
As a rough guide, if you own a burial plot with Chester Council, and choose to host your service at our funeral parlour, or, hold a graveside service without using a church; the interment cost will be similar to the Simple Cremation Package Price or Traditional Cremation Package Price, depending on what package items you prefer. The price excludes the cost of grave jewellery such as headstones, use of a church and the cost of purchasing a new grave.
Church Costs: Catholic Churches tend to charge one fixed price to use their church for a service.
Church of England and other denominations tend to vary their fees.
Things to consider:
- Where to host your funeral service? In our Funeral Parlour, Chester cemetery chapel or at a local Church or graveside.
- Do you want a Minister or Celebrant to conduct the service?
- Do you own a family plot, or do you need to purchase one? Chester County Council charge around £2000 for a grave plot.
Some Churches own their own burial ground, if you attend your local church regularly, you may be allowed to be buried within the Church grounds. Feel free to telephone for guidance.
